Rhododendron hybrid - 'Sunup-Sundown' x 'Lem's Cameo'
Compact evergreen shrub with luscious dark-green foliage and dense growth habit. Suitable for pots or a garden position that receives dappled sun. In October, the strong-salmon coloured buds open to display trusses of unusually pretty blooms, deep pink at the edges, shading to light yellowish-pink. The frilly edges flowers and sunset-yellow throat provide a stunning display of colour.
This prolific flowering hybrid by the late Jack Lofthouse is attractive year-round due to its dense dark-green leaves. Requires well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
