Rhododendron - 'Mrs Lindsay Smith' x (campylocarpum x unknown)
Compact, dense evergreen shrub with spreading habit and pointy, medium-green foliage. Slow growing, it is perfect to plant in pots or in garden beds where it receives dappled shade. In mid-spring, loose trusses of funnel-shaped blooms in creamy-yellow with slight pink flush and red blotches on the dorsal lobes, make a pretty show. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
