Rhododendron hybrid - 'Jean Marie de Montague' x 'Indiana'
Medium evergreen shrub with upright growing habit. The glossy, dark-green foliage has slight tan indumentum on the underside. In mid spring, ball-shaped trusses of currant-red blooms with dark spotting, emerge to a stunning display of colour.
Prefers dappled shade and requires well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
