Rhododendron Hybrid -griffithianum x unknown
A medium sized, evergreen shrub with compact, dense growing habit and leathery, emerald-green foliage. Large trusses of bright-scarlet, slightly-frilled flowers, create a startling display of colour in October and November. This variety is highly sought after for its outstanding blooms and ability to withstand sun and heat.
Requires well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
