Rhododendron Yakushimanum Hybrid- Bambi x (Grosclaude Group x griersonianum) ?
Low growing evergreen shrub with fairly compact, upright habit and dull, dark-green foliage with slight brown indumentum. This variety is a favourite for its sun tolerance and colour change. In late spring, reddish-pink buds open to reveal compact trusses of bell-shaped, soft-yellow blooms.
Ideal for garden beds under trees that provide dappled sun. Requires well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
