Rhododendron - probably edgeworthii hybrid
Compact evergreen shrub with upright, bushy habit and mid-green foliage. Tolerates sun but prefers protection from extreme heat. In spring, pink-flushed buds open to reveal trusses of funnel-shaped, beautifully fragrant pure-white blooms.
This variety is suitable for coastal planting. Requires a well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
