Rhododendron hybrid - parentage unknown
A hardy evergreen shrub that is reliable and fast growing with glossy, deep-green foliage. Whilst this hybrid has been around since 1958, it has only been distributed in recent years. In early spring, large trusses of stunning deep-purple flowers with speckled throats provide a spectacular show.
Low maintenance, it prefers dappled shade and requires well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
