Rhododendron hybrid - Mrs Lindsay Smith x (campylocarpum x unknown)
Vigorous and dense evergreen shrub with upright habit and matte, deep-green foliage. Easy to grow, it is perfect for hedging or screening as it tolerates sun and heat well.
In spring, mauve-pink buds open to reveal enormous, near-white blooms with chestnut blotches on the upper lobe. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
