Pieris japonica
Valley Fire is one of the most disease resistant and hardy Pieris varieties. New foliage growth emerges in fire-red and creates a spectacular display in the garden in early spring. Dangling clusters of bell-shaped, white blooms create a fountain effect over the evergreen foliage. Prefers a sheltered position with dappled shade and thrives in well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
