Pieris japonica
Pieris Japonica is a compact, evergreen lily-of-the-valley shrub which, in spring, is almost completely covered with drooping clusters of small, bell-shaped, waxy, white flowers. The foliage takes up a lovely bronze tinge over winter. Ideal for sheltered garden beds and pots, especially under deciduous trees. Grows best in well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
