Petroselinum crispum
Also known as flat leaf parsley, this herb is native to the central Mediterranean region. One of the most widely cultivated herbs, it is used in almost every cuisine and is a staple in the kitchen. Plant in your patch in free-draining, well composted soil or grow in pots in good quality potting mix. Requires full sun to part shade.
How to plant: Sow seeds directly into the veggie patch or into your pot. Seeds are small so will require thinning out once germinated, this will take 3-5 weeks.
