Rhododendron – Australian hybrid - arboreum (s) x unknown
A very hardy evergreen shrub with upright growing habit and small mid-green foliage. Makes an excellent screen plant due to its tall height. In springtime, it produces masses of fabulous open, funnel-shaped blooms in cerise-pink.
Plant in part-shade with protection from hot afternoon sun. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
