Rhododendron molle
Turncoat is a compact and hardy deciduous shrub with green foliage that produces lovely autumn tones of bronze-red. Mollis are a sub-genus of the rhododendron family.
In spring, masses of interesting, two-tone blooms in salmon-pink with golden throat make a delightful display. Prefers full sun to dappled shade and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
