Rhododendron molle
Queen Emma is a compact deciduous shrub with bright green foliage that turns to lovely tones of bronze-red in winter. It is a sub-genus of the rhododendron family. In spring, masses of ball-shaped trusses of large orange-yellow blooms make a stunning show of colour.
Prefers full sun to dappled shade and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
