Rhododendron molle

Narcissiflorum is a compact deciduous shrub that is part of the Ghent hybrids and a sub-genus of the rhododendron family.

In spring, masses of small, hose-in-hose flowers in sulphur-yellow envelope the shrub in a beautiful sea of colour and make a lovely contrast to the bright green foliage. Prefers full sun to dappled shade and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
