Rhododendron molle
Mernda Yellow is a compact, bushy deciduous shrub with rounded habit and green foliage that turns a lovely burgundy tone in autumn, it is a sub-genus of the rhododendron family.
In late spring to early summer, masses of large, funnel-shaped blooms in a creamy-yellow make a stunning display. Small green foliage emerges at the same time. Prefers dappled shade and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
