Rhododendron molle
Hotspike is a compact, low maintenance bushy deciduous shrub and is a sub-genus of the Rhododendron family. The green foliage turns to a lovely bronze-purple hue in autumn.
Spectacular trusses of brilliant-orange blooms with a golden flare emerge to a gorgeous display of colour in mid-spring. Prefers semi-shade and a well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
