Rhododendron molle
Homebush is a compact and low maintenance bushy deciduous shrub, sub-genus of the rhododendron family.
In late spring, tight, rounded trusses of semi-double, electric-pink blooms are gracefully displayed on woody stems, like pompons. At the same time, light green foliage emerges to provide an eye-popping sight. Prefers semi-shade and a well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
