Rhododendron – possibly 'Anna' x R ‘Marius Koster'
A broadleaf evergreen shrub with a robust structure and large, pointy, dark-green foliage. Mid-spring, showy, funnel-shaped flowers that are large, glowing red and wavy-edged emerge to provide a stunning show. The flowers can be cut.
This is a vigorous shrub that enjoys full sun to partial shade. It is frost tolerant and requires well draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
