Rhododendron hybrid - 'Pink Pearl' x (catawbiense x unknown)
Large evergreen shrub with upright growing habit and beautiful bright-green foliage. Prefers an open position with dappled sun. In spring, it produces large, dramatic, frilly-edged blooms in hot-pink with red spotting.
Requires a well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
