Brassica oleracea
'Savoy Purple' is an early savoy cabbage with green inner head enclosed in deep purple leaves. It is a nutritious and sweet vegetable, full of goodness and stores well. Requires a sunny position, and humus-rich, well-drained soil. Avoid planting brassicas in the same position each year.
How to Plant: Propagate the seeds in individual seed cells or pots before transplanting into your patch. The cabbages will take from 3-6 months to maturity.
