Vaccinium corymbosum - Northern Highbush
Blueray is a deciduous, upright growing plant with a bushy upright habit and small, dark green foliage. This old favourite is very productive and performs well in areas that have hot summers and very cold winters.
In late spring, waxy, bell-shaped white flowers give way to clusters of firm light-blue berries that can be eaten fresh or frozen for later use.
Requires full sun to partial shade and well-drained, humus rich, acidic soil.
