Rhododendron molle - luteum selection
Golden Comet is a deciduous shrub with rounded habit and mid yellow-green foliage. In mid-late spring, domed trusses of vivid yellow blooms, with a darker blotch on the throat emerge to provide an outstanding display of colour. The flowers are followed by brilliant reddish-purple foliage in autumn.
Prefers full sun to dappled shade and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
