Rhododendron - griersonianum x Mars
Vigorous and easy to grow evergreen shrub with a broad, rounded habit and lovely deep-green foliage. In spring, large trusses of magnificent red, frilly-edged blooms emerge to provide an outstanding show of colour.
This variety is heat tolerant, however it does prefer dappled sun, and requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
