Rhododendron hybrid - xanthostephanum (s) x burmanicum
Compact evergreen shrub with upright, open growth habit and glossy green, spear-shaped foliage. Most suited to temperate climates, it is perfect in pots or garden beds that provide dappled shade.
In mid spring, loose trusses of funnel-shaped, fragrant blooms in sulphur-yellow adorn the shrub in a sea of stunning colour. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
