Rhododendron - caucasicum hybrid
Large and vigorous growing evergreen with olive green foliage.
This spectacular shrub flowers early and brightens up the garden with its round inflorescent star-shaped blooms. Bright pink with a lighter centre, they make an especially stunning show.
Requires dappled sunlight, and a position that affords well-draining, humus rich, acidic soil.
Grows to 2 metres in 10 years.
