Rhododendron hybrid - (degronianum ssp yakushimanum x Fabia Tangerine) selfed
Semi-dwarf shrub with an upright and spreading habit and beautiful deep-green foliage. This variety is a popular 'yak' hybrid, very beautiful and exceptionally floriferous. It makes a stunning addition to any garden. In mid to late spring, deep-pink buds open to reveal bell-shaped trusses of pale-pink flowers tinged with yellow. Can be planted in pots or in a garden bed that receives dappled sun. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
