Rhododendron - 'Cup Day' x 'Purple Splendour'
A medium sized evergreen shrub with open, vigorous growth habit and glossy, dark-green foliage. In late spring, large trusses of funnel-shaped, deep-magenta blooms with a prominent black blotch emerge to provide a striking show of colour.
Perfect for growing under large trees where they receive some protection from the hot sun. Requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
