Rhododendron hybrid - edgeworthii x formosum
Compact evergreen shrub with rounded habit and glossy dark-green, deeply-veined foliage. Can be grown in pots or in a sheltered position in the garden where it receives dappled shade. In spring, strongly scented, funnel-shaped blooms emerge in soft-pink, fading to white with age. The blooms have faint golden markings on the throat.
Requires well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
