Very hardy, tall evergreen shrub with strong bushy habit and large, glossy bright-green foliage. Stunning trusses of bell-shaped, carmine-pink flowers appear in late spring. Tolerant to extremes of heat, cold and humidity, it is one of the best varieties to grow in Sydney.

Prefers a well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
