Rhododendron – degronianum ssp yakushimanum x unnamed hybrid
This compact bushy evergreen shrub is one of the “Seven Dwarfs” of Rhododendron varieties. It has a dense, mounding habit and attractive, re-curved, dark-green foliage with orange-brown indumentum. Perfect to grow in pots or in small gardens, it prefers a position with dappled shade. In spring, pale-pink buds open to display the prettiest, single cream flowers with pale-pink edging.
This shrub is easy to grow and is tolerant to sun and wind. Requires a well-draining, humus-rich, acidic soil.
