Hardy and compact evergreen shrub with small dark-green foliage. Best grown in garden beds or under large trees where it receives dappled shade.
In late winter to early spring, the plant is covered in single, magenta-rose blooms that make a spectacular display of colour.
Requires moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
