Rhododendron molle
Golden Oriole is a compact, low maintenance bushy deciduous shrub. Mollis are a sub-genus of the Rhododendron family. Green foliage turns a lovely bronze colour in autumn.
In early-spring, the orange buds open to reveal large showy clusters of stunning golden-yellow blooms. Prefers semi-shade and a well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
