Rhododendron molle

Early Orange is a deciduous, low maintenance shrub with green foliage.  Sub-genus of the rhododendron family, this variety is a medium grower.

In mid-spring, before the new growth appears, clusters of blooms in bright orange-red, open to reveal a stunning display of brilliant colour. Prefers a sunny position and well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil.
