Buzzard is a deciduous, low maintenance shrub with green foliage. Sub-genus of the Rhododendron family, this variety has a bushy growing habit. In mid-spring, before the new growth appears, clusters of fragrant blooms in straw-yellow with a pink tinge open to reveal a stunning display of unsurpassed beauty. Prefers dappled shade and well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
