Rhododendron hybrid - limbatum sport
A medium sized evergreen shrub with sprawling growth habit. The unusual, thick glossy foliage is brightly variegated with splashes of lime-green. In spring, conical clusters of rose-red flowers, fading to white in the centre, emerge to make a striking display of colour. Best lightly pruned after flowering to keep shape.
Prefers dappled shade and requires well-drained, humus-rich, acidic soil.
